In the following works I have been in involved activley in the working group. Usually my task relates to dance and choreography but depending on the production I have also been involved as actor, puppet constructor and creative mind.

Gospel of Lazarus

The Gospel of LAZARUS combines drama, puppetry and dance with a scientific base. The piece was produced by Grus Grus Theatre and premiered in Åbo Svenska Teater on September 8th 2017.

Lazarus of the New Testament was presumably the world’s first documented zombie and Jesus’ greatest publicity stunt. The performance picks up the story where Jesus left it: what happened to Lazarus after he was resurrected? What kind of a life is the life after death, and was there ever a life before death?

NEWS 2.0 / UUTISET 2.0

For almost half a year the crafts of journalism and contemporary puppetry have been welded together into what has become an experimental, mind-boggling and often controversial new form of theatre. Taking place in Finnkino cinema hall in Turku, News 2.0 demonstrated how theatre can not only investigate, edit and perform real news, but also question the very structure and motives of news making.

News 2.0 consisted of 3 shows whereas each show differed from the others not only in the actual news reported, but also in a different theme with its reportage and a guest expert. The shows and themes were: 24.10.2018 Power of News | 31.12.2018 Arms Trade | 7.11.2018 Artificial Intelligence.
